Local beekeeper, Bill Eisle, will report on the status of bees in Cape May County
at our monthly meeting on March 5th. Beach plums are very dependent on bees in order to
pollinate and produce fruit. With the recent loss of large numbers of honeybees nationwide,
this topic is both timely and important to growers and harvesters of the beach plum.
